I almost choked when a friend of mine said she was at the corner fruit stand and they asked her to pay $13 for a little box of cherries. “What!” was all I could say.

Prices have skyrocketed in food prices  and gas is up to $4 a gallon!

“I think it sucks,” said one woman in an interview of people on the street regarding the rising gas prices. Holy cow!
